Gaming is one now part of most people's lives one way from a simple phone game from the App Store you that you can download to kill time in school or on the train or whatever the case maybe we all have those in our phones. Gaming these days has become so sophisticated. The time of you and your friends having to go to each other's houses to play video are dead and gone.
Now to play with your buddies all you need is an internet connection, he or she can be on the other side of the planet and you can still play a video games with the each other in real time. Even phone games are on this level now, if you have 8 Ball Pool you are a victim of a few daily challenges from your friends or even random strangers on your cellphone, imagine that? Playing a game of pool with someone through your phone. “I love 8 Ball Pool, are you kidding?! I play it on the train on my way to work and coming back home every single day. My daughter always beats me all the time though, I think its cause she plays on the iPad, and the screen is much bigger.” Darryl Simpson said on his commute to work.
It feels like having a bulky Gameboy was centuries ago you don't even need cartridges anymore all the games can be downloaded straight to your handheld device via the internet. The most astonishing part of this is the amount of data the small things hold in order for you to play your games.
A few short years ago that amount of memory space compacted into such small devices was almost inconceivable but that's where not mobile gaming but gaming in general has taken us. Console gaming has become one of those things that's for everyone now as well. The amount of production value that goes into videos now it's amazing, from the voice acting to the graphics it's all becoming more and more realistic, when you think the gaming industry can't go any further they out do themselves year after year with new innovations.
“Soon as I saw that Playstation was releasing a VR headset I couldn’t wait for it to come out, it was kind of expensive but I love it, it just came out so the games are still in the infant stages but give it a year or two years, it’s going to be incredible.” Aaron Wilson said when talking about the possibilities of Sony’s VR headseat. Virtual reality puts you inside the games, your experience with the games is so much more intimately. There's something for everyone in gaming from simple puzzle games to sophisticated stories and character development. Gaming is one of those things that as time passes become more and more part of our daily lives and mainstream society. It's gotten to the point where Super Mario, who is undoubtedly the most recognizable video game character of all time, will host the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan.

The first E3 to be officially open to the public will also feature a series of panels and talks from game makers and celebrities from the entertainment industry, the Entertainment Software Association announced today. Known as the E3 Coliseum, the event will run for the first two days of E3, June 13-14. It will take place onstage at The Novo, a theater at L.A. It’s unclear if that show is returning this year, and there’s no word on whether Keighley is participating if it is happening again.) The E3 coliseum will feature presentations from game developers meant to “take E3 attendees behind the scenes of E3’s biggest new announcements,” said the ESA, the organization that runs E3, in a news release. Numerous game publishers will host panels at the E3 Coliseum, including Activision, Bethesda Softworks, Gearbox Publishing, Sony Interactive Entertainment, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. TNC Is Rampaging Through Dota's Kiev Majorby Eric Van Allen Apr 24, 2017
The four-month gap the Boston and Kiev Majors in Dota 2 has been especially vacuous, as precious few tournaments gave fans a chance to gauge each team’s potential headed into today’s Kiev Major group stage play. After Boston it seemed like TNC Pro Team was in disarray, but Kiev is showing that just might not be true. The southeast Asian squad made a name for itself at last year’s International, where it shot up through the qualifiers and eliminated OG, a tournament favorite, before finishing at 7th/8th. The months since have not been so kind to TNC, as they failed to qualify for Boston after most of their players scattered to other teams during the offseason, and only recently did three return for this week’s Kiev Major. Despite all this, TNC has had an incredible run so far in Kiev, taking down the North American titan Evil Geniuses 2-0 and Thunderbirds, formerly of Digital Chaos, at 2-1 in the group stage. read more: Kotaku Image credit: TNC Pro Team |
OVERWATCH PRO'S RACIST TIRADE ENDS HIS CAREERby Eric Van Allen Apr 24, 2017
Most pros’ careers end in injury, deteriorating mechanical skill, or just when their interest in competing runs dry. Toronto Esports’ Matt “Dellor” Vaughn opted for a different end: A very long, very public stream of racial slurs during an Overwatch game. Vaughn, a 28-year-old adult, was playing a ranked match in Overwatch. His opponent’s Widowmaker was making a few too many accurate shots, and Vaugn took umbrage. His response was to yell the N-word into his microphone using the game’s voice chat system, as the rest of his team listened on. Below is the video (via PVP Live), though be warned, he really goes on for a while, literally repeating the N-word for just shy of 30 seconds with a few adjectives near the end, and the audio can get a bit loud. read more: Kotaku Image credit: Blizzard Entertainment |

Gaming's racist and sexist personalities aren't a new threat to childrenby Ben Kuchera Mar 15, 2017,
“Do you watch PewDiePie?” I asked my oldest son. He shook his head no, but then asked why I would even bring it up. “Because he doesn’t understand why jokes about genocide aren’t funny,” I explained. My son goes to a German language school, and this wasn’t the first time this particular topic has come up. I don’t think PewDiePie is an anti-Semite as much as I think he’s a rich white guy who doesn’t understand that anti-Semitic humor isn’t the best way to make a point. PewDiePie is thoughtless, and his wealth and built-in following insulates him from having to look at any of his beliefs very hard. I wouldn’t be upset if my children were fans of his, but I would try to explain why shock humor is lazy and more likely to get you in trouble than get you a laugh. read more: Ign |
HOW BLIND GAMERS USE SOUND TO PLAY THEIR FAVORITE GAMES
by Joe Donnelly Mar, 15 2017
“Mario is quite complex,” explains Kevin Satizabal. “It has so many shifting scenes and shifting elements.”
It’s not often that the original Super Mario Brothers is described as “complex.” But video games are naturally perceived very differently by sighted and visually impaired players. Blind since birth, Satizabal — a Marketing and Communications Assistant at the London Royal Society for Blind People — struggled at times with Mario’s level structure, yet still managed to enjoy Nintendo’s perennial side-scrolling platformer in his formative years.

MLB THE SHOW 17 BRINGS IN MLB NETWORK BROADCAST PRESENTATIONby Samit Sarkar@SamitSarkar Feb 28, 2017
Stale audio commentary has long been one of the few shortcomings of The Show, and at the very least this year, it’s going to be a major departure from the past. Matt Vasgersian has served as the play-by-play announcer for every MLB The Show game since the series’ debut in 2006. He will be joined in the broadcast booth by two other MLB Network analysts, Harold Reynolds and Dan Plesac, both of whom had long MLB careers as players before they entered the TV world. read more: Polygon |
WHAT IT’S LIKE MAKING GAMES IN PAKISTANby Basim Usmani Mar 13, 2017,
Chappal Strike, a play on shooter Counter-Strike, is a student-made game in which the player launches chappals — Pakistani sandals — to take down army helicopters. The game is rooted in one of Pakistan's darkest moments of 2016. On March 27, 2,000 protesters, culled mainly from the extremist sectarian party Sunni Tehreek, descended on the Parliament House in Islamabad to oppose the execution of Mumtaz Qadri. Qadri was a former bodyguard on trial for assassinating Punjab’s governor at the time, Salmaan Taseer. read more: Polygon |

In most Zelda games, the titular princess is nothing more than a goal for the player to acquire. She is a princess in peril, and Link is her knight in shining armor. She has grown beyond that simple role recent releases, however, and has become a more realized, fleshed-out character. In Skyward Sword, she had a long history with Link, performed her own fated duties, and went on her own adventure in tandem with Link’s – something shown in detail during the game’s credits. read more: Game Informer GHOST RECON: WILDLANDS BETAS SET NEW UBISOFT RECORD WITH 6.8 MILLION PLAYERSby Eddie Makuch on March 1, 2017

A society with a foggy past and an uncertain future is truly lost; such is the reality for the denizens of the world of Horizon Zero Dawn. Roughly 1,000 years from today, tribal communities lead primitive lives, surrounded by mysterious high-tech fossils of the Old Ones--the fractured legacy of our real world, the result of technological advancement run amok. Diminutive animals like rabbits and boars still roam the wild, but they trot in the footsteps of imposing mechanical beasts that dominantly stride through dense jungles and lurk on snowy mountain tops.
